The Alabama Charge started today. I hammered a ton of fish but they were smaller than I would like and sit in 63rd place. The goal is to make the top 50 cut and try and steadily move up the leaderboard.
I’m actually glad to just have enough gear to fish. My rig was broken into on Monday night of this week. My Skeeter has an alarm system, thank God, and at 1:30 it went off. They (whoever you are be glad you can run fast and that my nickname is the Turtle) got away with 4 boxes of my Brass N’ Blades, custom painted crankbaits, and some D&L jigs. They didn’t get away with any rods or reels. That’s just part of the life of a professional fisherman. It is not the first or the last time that obstacle comes our way.
