The first Elite Series event of the season starts tomorrow. I’ve located a good area with a lot of pre and post spawn bass about an hour run from the take-off. One thing that I typically like to do in tournaments is get away from the crowds and fish up in the rivers. If there is a river to be found on a fishery you can bet I will spend at least one practice day up there. If I go up there and don’t find quality fish that is okay, I just can’t not go. Other anglers are similar in that they must try and find some fish in deeper water, some must try all the rip-rap on the lake, etc. You will find me up the river most likely.
There are several guys I can count on seeing in the areas I target in practice.
