After 3 checks in a row it stinks to not cash one at Toledo Bend. I finished 64th so it didn’t crush my AOY positioning (36th) but it was a real grind. If you fish a tournament series you know the importance of finishing 64th vs 94th though. I dropped a little bit but it wouldn’t be considered a bomb.
I’m glad to be home and will take a few days off from being in the boat. We’ve started hunting morels and are pushing 100 so far. Those will go well with the walleye from Brookville Lake from a couple weeks back.
I’ve been testing a new product lately called the EZ Troll Step which really helps me get in and out of my boat faster.
