Tight Lines

by

The Alabama Charge ended better than it started last week as I ended up 31st.  Pickwick Lake is just full of quality bass.  The water fluctuation really messed with my area the first day of the event but as it came back to normal the flipping bite really improved.  A Tight Lines UV Beaver is a great choice in off-colored water because the fish can really see the UV-coated bait.  I caught fish on both the D&L jig and the UV Beaver until my hands were worn out.  Grab a 5/16 ounce weight (I use Reins Tungsten) and 25 pound Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon and get to Pickwick!

Toledo Bend starts tomorrow.  I’ve got work to do in this one as practice has been very slow.
